1943 – 2021
Thompson, CT – William H. “Chief” Waters, III, 78, of O’Leary Rd., passed away on Thursday, June 24, 2021 in Hartford Hospital. William generously donated his body to science through UMass Memorial Hospital. He was the loving husband to his “girl next door,” Kristina (Forand) Waters for 56 years. Born in Worcester, he was the son of the late William Waters, Jr., and Beatrice (Lindberg) Waters.
Mr. Waters worked as a machine operator for Bay State Abrasives for 40 years. He was a member of H.O.G. (Harley Owners Group,) the N.A.M. Knights, and several sportsman’s clubs. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, bowling, and playing golf.
In addition to his wife Kristina, William is survived by his children, Lisa M. (Waters) Hewey of Clinton, MA, Darlene J. Waters of Eugene, OR and William H. Waters, IV and his partner Debbie Desruisseaux of Uxbridge, MA; his sister, Coralie Landry of Maynard, MA; his grandchildren, Nikki Hewey, Krystal Waters, Kaitlyn Waters, and Christopher Waters; his great-grandchildren, Rhegan Stopyra, and Iris Stopyra; and his fury child, “Lilly.” He was predeceased by his brothers, the late Mark Waters and Jeffrey Waters.
Relatives and friends are invited to a Celebration of William’s Life at the Uxbridge Progressive Club, 18 Whitin St. Uxbridge, MA from 1:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 21, 2021.
