Brooklyn – Vincentina “Nancy” Wilbur, 96, of Canterbury Road, died Friday May 20, 2011 in Pierce Memorial Baptist Home. She was the loving wife of the late Home Weston Wilbur who died December 12, 2001. Born in North Grosvenordale, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Ella (Botto) Defilippo.
Mrs. Wilbur was a homemaker and enjoyed collecting dolls.
Vincentina is survived by 11 grandchildren, and many great grandchildren; her niece, Alice E. Daigle and her husband John of Haines City, FL; and her nephew, Robert Defilippo and his wife Carol of Ridge Manor, FL as well as several other nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her two sons, the late Roland and Donald Adams.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Nancy’s family at 9:00 am on Wednesday May 25, 2011 in the Valade Funeral Home, 23 Main St., N. Grosvenordale CT followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in St. Joseph Church, 18 Main St., N. Grosvenordale. Burial will follow in West Thompson Cemetery.
