 Putnam – Ursula Jane Olson, 74, of Viens St., died Monday, February 18, 2013 in Day Kimball Hospital.  She was the loving wife of Robert A. Olson.  Born in Brooklyn, NY, she was the daughter of the late George and Dorothy (Dunne) Eberle.

Mrs. Olson worked in her early years for the telephone company before starting her family and becoming a stay at home mom.

Ursula is survived by her loving husband, a son Robert G. Olson and his wife Maryann of Mansfield, two daughters Anne E. Olson of Putnam and Mary C. Barratt and her husband Paul of West Warrick, RI; two sisters Patricia Miller of Tucson, AZ and Geraldine Zobel of East Longmeadow, MA; and five grandchildren Jordan, Mark, Dawn, Bridget, and Emma.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Ursula’s family from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Friday, February 22, 2013, in the Gilman Funeral Home, 104 Church St, Putnam, CT.  A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday February 23, 2013 at 11 a.m. in St. Mary Church, 218 Providence St, Putnam, CT.  (Meeting directly at church) Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers memorial donations in Ursula’s memory may be made to either, or both, The Arc Quinebaug Valley Attn. Linda Lamoureux, 687 Cook Hill Rd., Danielson, CT 06239 or Kamryn’s Angels Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, c/o Mr. & Mrs. Carl Fasano, 20 Corona Ave., Staten Island, NY 10306.
