Port St. Lucie, FL – Susan T. (Bacon) LeBeau, 74, of Port Saint Lucie, formerly of Riverside Dr., in N. Grosvenordale, CT, died unexpectedly Sunday, September 5, 2021, at Lawnwood Regional Medical Center. Beloved wife of the late Kenneth LeBeau. Born in Webster, Massachusetts, she was the daughter of the late Roland and Irene (Gancy) Bacon.
Susan was a stay-at-home mom for many years, then became a school bus driver while her children were in grade school. She became a realtor as her children got older, and worked for Hicks Real Estate and Loomis Real Estate in Putnam.
Susan was an accomplished artist and painter, and also enjoyed writing poems and funny lyrics for friends and family. She loved floral gardening and even worked as a florist for a time. She learned wood carving during retirement and thoroughly enjoyed her retirement community joining the drama club, shuffleboard team, mahjong club, water aerobics and enjoyed socializing with her group of friends. Susan will be forever remembered as an active, friendly, humorous and outgoing person.
Susan is survived by her two daughters, Michelle Robidoux and Nicole LeBeau and her husband Don Brown and a granddaughter, Jennifer Robidoux.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to visit with Susan’s family from 10:00a.m. to 12:00p.m. on Monday, September 13, 2021, in the Valade Funeral Home and Crematory, 23 Main St., N. Grosvenordale, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 12:30p.m. in St. Joseph Church, 18 Main St., N. Grosvenordale, CT. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Garden of Peace Cemetery in Webster, MA.
