Sue was a grandparent volunteer in my second grade classroom for the past three school years. She came in each day with a big smile, and was always greeted with hugs from the children. The kids looked forward to the chance to read with “Grandma Sue”. She always made reading exciting and interesting to the kids through lively discussions about the stories and characters. She had a way of making all the children feel special and important to her. She was truly an unconditional loving grandma to many of the children. She will be deeply missed.
