To the family of Sue
I had the pleasure of working with Sue in her last years teaching at CIPS. She was my cooperating teacher and third grade partner for the last years of her career. Her love for the Iditarod was something she enjoyed teaching and I learned a great deal from her. I will fondly think of Sue and wish she had the chance to the the “Teacher on the Trail” because she would have made it so much more fun! If anything in the world, she loved her family and adored her grandchildren! If she ever was having a hard day, bringing up her family was a guaranteed way to make her smile. She was too young to have left and my heart breaks for your family! I’m so sorry for this incredible loss. I will always remember your mother fondly and am grateful for all she taught me as a teacher
