I remember Steve when I was very young. I would go watch my Dad play softball and Steve was on our team or was playing against us. He was a good softball pitcher but even more he was a GREAT person and will be sorely missed.

Steve and i go a long way back, from high school opponents, to Uconn, to many adult athletic leagues, to cardio rehab. We were solid close friends, although I suspect he made anyone who knew him for even a short time feel the same way.
I was deeply saddened to hear of his passing and will sorely miss seeing him every once in a while, We always exchanged updates of our lives and inevitably a few hearty laughs, mostly about ourselves.
He was one of the best men that i know..
