In Memorial

1953-2008

Eastford – Stephen Bonneville, 55, of Crystal Pond Road, died Thursday June 19, 2008, at his home, comforted by the presence of loved ones.  He was the loving husband and devoted partner of Leslie Winter.  Born in Putnam, he was the son of Robert J. and Martha (Kacerik) Bonneville.

Steve was a self-employed paint and wallpaper contractor in Northeastern Connecticut for thirty years.  He took great pride in his work and found much pleasure in helping others to beautify their homes.  He enjoyed nurturing his many connections to the community beginning with his childhood friends and extending to those he met through his work and his passions.  He enjoyed motorcycles, restoring antique cars, the outdoors, hiking, sailing, and running.

In addition to his wife and parents, Steve is survived by a son, Adam Bonneville of Woodstock; a daughter, Stephanie Bonneville and her boyfriend, Ross Vance, both of Woodstock; two step-sons, Evan and Wyatt Morse of Woodstock; a brother, David Bonneville of Orinda, CA; a sister Cynthia Koziak and her husband, Edward Koziak of Webster, MA; and his first wife, Pamela Bonneville of Waterford, Ct.

Relatives and friends are invited to join Steve’s family for a Memorial Service in Christ Church of Pomfret, 527 Pomfret Street, Pomfret, CT at 11:00 am Saturday, June 28, 2008 followed by a reception in the church hall.  Burial will be private at Barlow Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Day Kimball Oncology Department for cancer patient resource development.  Donations can be sent to: DKH Development Office, P.O. Box 632, Putnam, CT 06260.
