Mrs. Scraba,
I was one of his students at PHS back in the 60’s. He was an excellent teacher and went beyond the role. I remember his having a group of us over to your house. The mental picture that comes to mind is when you both would attend the school dances and seeing you out on the dance floor.
You both can be very proud of raising successful children.
My sympathy to you and your family.

Dear Scraba Family,
I taught with Stan at the Challenge Program and found him to be a fine gentleman and a great instructor. He was an inspiration to us young teachers and for me as a young officer. I once talked him into climbing through a window in a locked building on post to get some class materials. He laughed and said I would go far in the service if I could talk a general into climbing through the window. Stan will be missed and my sympathy to the entire family.

Dear Joan and Family – Stan was such a special man! I think of him every time I hit a key to type. He gave me and many others a skill that has helped all of us in life. He worked with Rusty Sherman and me on the yearbook. He was so patient and such fun.
In high school you and he were so gracious to me at a time when I really needed it. I look back at the lovely dinners you invited me to share even though you had a pack of adorable children who wanted your attention too. Thank you.
We will think of Stan, always.
