Woodstock – Shelby M. Ball, 56, of Route 171, died Monday, December 16, 2013 in his home surrounded by his family. He is the loving husband of Rosaura Villanueva Ball. Born in Morgantown, WV, he was the son of Ida (McCartney) Ball of Horseheads, NY and the late Robert Ball.
Mr. Ball worked as a Machine Operator for Loos & Co. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and gardening.
In addition to his wife, Shelby is survived by his daughter, Tiffany Ball of Massachusetts; step-son Hugo Gonzalez-Villanueva of Woodstock; brothers, James W. Ball of Dayville, CT and Ryan D. Ball of Gillet, PA; and sister, Susan D. Maynard of Horseheads, NY.
