1991 – 2020

Colrain, MA – Ryan Edward Tremblay, 29, of Hoosac Road, formerly of Putnam, CT died Thursday November 12, 2020 at home. Born in Worcester, MA, he was the son of Paul Tremblay of Plainfield and Gerri (Tetreault) Stetson of Bernardston, MA.

Ryan worked as a machinist. He enjoyed playing video games, fishing, hiking and being outdoors. He would root for all the New England sports teams. He especially loved spending time with his daughter.

In addition to his parents and step-mother Nicole Tremblay, he is survived by his fiancé Emberly Sobieski; his daughter, Khaleighsi Tremblay, his step daughter Hayven Sobieski; his brothers Jacob Tremblay of Putnam, Mason Tremblay of Plainfield, Joel “JJ” Tremblay of Plainfield; his sisters, Kelly Lepage and her husband William of Charlton, MA, Kristi Tetreault and fiancé Christian Connely of Millers Falls, MA, and his maternal grandparents, Mary and Ron Tetreault and paternal grandfather Rudolph Tremblay. Ryan is predeceased by his brother Elijah Tremblay and Grandmother Leona Tremblay.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Ryan’s family on Thursday November 19, 2020 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. in the Gilman Funeral Home & Crematory, 104 Church St. Putnam, CT with a Funeral Service in the funeral home at 7:30 p.m. For Memorial Guestbook, visit www.GilmanAndValade.com

I am so sorry for your loss, my name is Andrew Varner , along with Eric Taylor, Wesley , Tonii he was apart of our circle of friends. When I first met him, he was a little awkward I would say . But as we all hung out more he grew on us all. I remember when we were all living down near Chapman street , we had some great memories . I do apologize for your loss and I wish you all well

I’m so sorry for your loss. I have many fond memories of Ryan. He use to hang out with a few other kids at my apartment with my daughter. He was always the quiet one and so well behaved. Always a pleasure to have around. My heart goes out to all his family and friends. May God be with you all at this very hard time in your life.

This is so heartbreaking. Sending love and comfort to the family. Ryan was part of our every day life while growing up in Putnam. He was always sweet and such a big piece of our life on Chapman St…I think he was part of our house as much as Wes was at his. I am just so sad about this, but so grateful to have him in our lives.
