Woodstock – Ronald “Rusty” Brodeur, 90, of Harrisville Road died, Thursday July 3, 2008 in Worcester. He was the husband of the late Margaret L. (Evans) Brodeur for 67 years. Born in Putnam, he was the son of the late Joseph and Celia (St. Onge) Brodeur and lived in Woodstock most of his life.
Mr. Brodeur worked for the Citizens National Bank as a head teller. He had also worked for the Putnam Woolen Mills. He was a WWII Navy Veteran serving during the D-Day Invasion. He enjoyed horseback riding and hunting.
He is survived by two nieces and several cousins.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Rusty’s family at 9:00 am Tuesday July 8, 2008 in the Gilman Funeral Home, 104 Church St., Putnam, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30am in MostHolyTrinityChurch, 568 Pomfret Rd., Pomfret. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery.
