I have fond memories of Ronnie in high school. He loved baseball. One year, when the Red Sox were playing an afternoon playoff game, Ronnie hid a transistor radio in his coat and ran the earphone up the sleeve so he could listen to the game. He would give us game updates during class. My God bring his family comfort during this difficult time.

Dear Cameron and Jill, I was sorry to read the sad news about your father in the paper. I remember coaching with him at St Mary School and I am sure his loss will be difficult. He was a great guy. I’m glad to think that you must have many fond memories of your activities together.

It is with a heavy heart that I write this message to the Smith family.
Ronnie and I went to high school together. He was, quite simply, one of the good guys. No matter where you saw him, there was a smile on his face …..for everyone and everything. He was kind and funny and very pleasant to be around.
Over the past decade or so, I would run into him while shopping. Just like the old days, he never failed to put a smile on my face! It seems he became even more generous over the years in terms of displaying those qualities we all so appreciated in high school: his ability to make anyone feel welcome, a laugh or two in sincere conversation, and the bright smile that time could not fade. He will be missed.
