Willington – It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Robert “Rob” Loiselle, 39, of Willington, on Sunday, June 13, 2021. Born in Putnam, he was the son of loving parents, Robert H. Loiselle, Jr. of Ballouville, and Karen (Mazzarella) Loiselle of Brooklyn.
Mr. Loiselle worked as a Wrecker Specialist for Showcase Auto & Recovery, in Southington, and was getting ready to graduate from New England Tractor Trailer School soon.
He had a fondness of cooking and enjoyed old cars, fishing, camping, riding dirt bikes and ATVs, sports, and nature, He was a member of the Oddballs Auto Club, where he enjoyed working on cars with his father. But above all, spending quality time with his sons and family was most important to him. Rob enjoyed life and will be remembered for his great sense of humor, knack of befriending people, and his willingness to help anyone and everyone.
Rob is survived by his parents, his beloved sons, Noah and Anthony Loiselle; his sister, Nicole Loiselle of Danielson; and his grandparents Robert and Barbara (Jolicour) Loiselle of Ballouville, and Evelyn (Gaudreau) Mazzarella of Dayville. He also leaves several aunts, uncles and cousins, along his much-loved fiancé, Chelsea Whitecross, of Willington, and his treasured dog, Rocky. He was predeceased by his maternal grandfather, Florian Mazzarella.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Rob’s family from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Monday, June 28, 2021, in the Gilman Funeral Home and Crematory, 104 Church Street, Putnam, CT, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 a.m. in St. James Church, 12 Franklin Street, Danielson, CT.
