Charles Ayler
Dear Coderre Family,
My name is Charles Ayler, and I would like to offer my condolences to you on your loss. Although I didn’t know him, I believe that my dad may very well have. He also served on the U. S. S. Salerno Bay for several years. Unfortunately, I can’t ask him as he passed away in 2009. While my dad didn’t mention that many of his shipmates by
name, we did visit a couple of them when I was younger. He told me on more than one occasion what a great bunch of guys he served with.
He was proud of his ship and his shipmates and the time he spent with them in the Navy. Because he isn’t here to offer condolences to a shipmates; I am doing it for him as well as myself. I hope that you can find comfort in the memories of your time together.God bless you.

So sorry Connie for your loss. Bob will be missed. Especially at the Word of Life Men’s Retreat. I enjoyed the many trips we had taken together and the conversations to and from the Inn. I am blessed to have known him and the chance to minister with him. May God richly bless you all as you celebrate Bob’s life here with us and may God strengthen your heart as Bob departs this life and enters into the next. In Christ’s love,

Dear Connie and Family. I am so sorry to hear of bobs passing and I know he is with our Lord Jesus. Bob was such a nice man,and he often spoke of his love for you and his children. I enjoyed my time spent with Bob at the gym and having fellowship with him and Norman at the Cracker barrel on Friday mornings. Bobs faith and love for God was so strong that he was an inspiration to all of us. So please remember that we will all see each other again.
Sincerely,
Joe DePasquale
