Pops, I only knew you for a couple of years but I feel like I knew you my whole life. We connected instantly and I cherished our friendship. You hated when I told people you were my grandfather but truth is you were what I was missing my whole life. I never had a grandfather and when my dad passed you were there to help fill a void I was missing. I have so many memories with you. You always made me feel good and always told it like it is.In many ways you reminded me of my dad. And I know if you two met you would got along so great. I could always go to you for honest advice. Its a shame that you were taken out the way you were. I never would have thought you would be gone. Im just glad you were finally happy and enjoying the life you deserve. I will miss you so much Pops. I love you. Your step daughter Steph
