Brooklyn, CT – Mrs. Rita G. (Blais) Skrzypczak, 65, of Ventura Drive died Wednesday August 1, 2007 at home. She was the loving wife of Joseph E. Skrzypczak for 46 years. Born in Putnam, she was the daughter of the late Eugene and Rose (Doucette) Blais.
Mrs. Skrzypczak worked as a molder for Putnam Precision Plastics retiring in 2005.
Besides her husband, she is survived by two sons, Steven E. Skrzypczak of Ballouville and James Skrzypczak of Dayville; a daughter, Judy Francisco of Florissant, CO; a brother, Robert Blais of Arizona; a step brother, Randy Rankin of Tennessee; a step sister, Helen Kemp of Hartford; three Grandchildren, Amy Skrzypczak, Jillian Francisco and Olivia Francisco; a nephew, Michael Paschopoulos and a niece, Paula Paschopoulos. She was the sister of the late Marie Labonte.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Rita’s family on Saturday August 4, 2007, from 5:00-8:00 pm. in the Gilman Funeral Home, 104 Church St., Putnam, Ct. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 am Thursday August 9, 2007 in St. Joseph Basilica, 53 Whitcomb St., Webster, MA. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Garden of Peace cemetery in Webster.

I am sorry for Rita’s passing.
In addition to my condolences, I would also like to be added to the list of siblings she left behind as well as Carla Goodridge.
We were also the same relation as Randy Rankin and Helen Kemp….to Rita.
We were not step sisters and brothers. we were sisters and brothers.
