St. George, Precille - web PicPomfret Center – Precille (Duquette) St. George, 60, of Orchard Hill Road, died Friday, November 2, 2007.  She was the loving wife of Paul St. George for 23 years.  Born in Putnam, she was the daughter of Florence (Mailloux) Duquette of N. Grosvenordale and the late Arsene Duquette.

Mrs. St. George worked for US Button for 35 years.  She loved animals, especially her dogs.  Precille also enjoyed gardening.

In addition to her mother and husband, Precille leaves her son, William Baker of Putnam; her daughter, Sherrie Billington and her husband, Steve, of Dayville; 5 brothers, Roland Duquette and his wife Karen of Putnam, Arsene Duquette and his wife Dale, Roger Duquette and his wife Deborah, David Duquette, and Kenneth Duquette all of N. Grosvenordale; her sister, Elaine Akana and her husband Michael of Thompson; and 3 grandchildren.  Precille was pre-deceased by her sister, Lorraine LaBonte, and brother, Maurice Duquette.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Precille’s family from 6:00 to 8:00 pm, Monday, November 5, 2007 in the Valade Funeral Home, 23 Main St., N. Grosvenordale.  A gathering will begin at 9:00 am on Tuesday, November 6th at the funeral home, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in St. Joseph Church, 20 Main St., N. Grosvenordale.  Burial to follow in St. Joseph Cemetery.
