To Mr. Coutier’s Family,
I was one of his students at PHS back in the mid 60’s. He was a great teacher and turned on us to learning French. Even though I did not major in it in college, I loved studying the language. In 1995 I spent part of one summer in a college French immersion program so he gave me my foundation and sparked the interest. Many happy memories.
My sympathy goes out to you.

Sorry to hear of Maurice’s death. Mo was a good friend, both of us commuting in college, Mo by jumping over the fence near his house and I from Gardner. He was always friendly, co-operative, willing to help, well-oriented. He greeted me warmly at our last meeting. My condolences to his family and friends, I will miss him…Omer Cormier

My sincere condolences to Mr. Cloutier’s family.
I had Mr. Cloutier as a substitute teacher many times. He always brought something special to classes. Unlike many substitutes, he did his best to carry out lessons and make his time in the classroom a meaningful experience.
