Putnam-Mark R. Ouellette, 57, of Green St. died peacefully at home, surrounded by his family, on Wednesday May 31, 2017. Mark was born in Waterbury, CT. and was the son of the late Leonard and Nancy (Donahue) Ouellette. He was the loving husband of 21 years to his wife Sandra (Becker) Ouellette.
Mark was a veteran of the United States Army and then worked as a machinist for Aero Tec Fasteners. He loved the New England Patriots with his all-time favorite player being “Gronk.” Mark was a hard worker who had a deep love of the ocean and travelled extensively to visit numerous oceans and their beaches. His favorite destination to travel to was Mohegan’s Bluff on Block Island. Mark was blessed with a unique sense of humor that could truly only be appreciated by his family and closest friends.
Mark is survived by his three sons, Mark S. Ouellette and his wife Laura of Foster, RI; George White of Putnam, CT; and Kyle White of Putnam, CT; daughter Amie Ouellette of Danielson, CT; and his brother Bruce Ouellette of Florida; and three beautiful grandchildren Cole, Tori and Anna.
Mark is predeceased by his daughter Danielle Ouellette, his brothers Donnie Ouellette, Doug Ouellette, David Ouellette and Brian Ouellette; and his sister Jill Perilli.
Relatives and friends are invited to a Celebration of Life with Mark’s family from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Tuesday June 6, 2017 at the Gilman Funeral Home and Crematory, 104 Church St. Putnam, CT.
