
Putnam- Marie L. “Rachel” Tetreault, 95, formerly of Smith Street, died Sunday July 16, 2006 in Matulaitis Nursing Home. Born in Putnam, she was the daughter of the late Israel and Rose Alma (Laflamme) Tetreault. She was a life-long Putnam resident.
Rachel was a sewer for the Danielson Curtain Company. She also worked for The American Optical Company and as a twister in local cotton mills. Miss Tetreault was a communicant at St. Mary Church and was a member of the former Child of Mary organization.
She is survived by a brother, Leo C. Tetreault of Putnam, two godsons, Etienne LaBelle of Killingly and John Bradley of Lebanon, and nineteen nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Germaine Robitaille, Antoinette Marion, Marie LaBelle and Leonid Tetreault.
Relatives and friends are invited to a gathering at 9:00am Saturday in the Gilman Funeral Home, 104 Church St., Putnam, followed by a Funeral Mass at 11:00 in St. Mary’s Church of the Visitation, 218 Providence Street, Putnam. Burial in St. Mary Cemetery.
