Thompson – Margaret “Peg” A. (Costello) Lancaster, 62, of Thompson Road, died Monday, June 22, 2009 in Webster Manor.  She was the loving wife of Robert “Bob” Lancaster, Sr.  Born in New Haven, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Katherin (Gillen) Costello. 

Mrs. Lancaster worked as an executive assistant for Credit Union Direct Lending in Marlboro, MA. 

Mrs. Lancaster was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who especially enjoyed her grandchildren. 

In addition to her husband, Peg is survived by her son, Robert Lancaster Jr. and his wife Sandra of Thompson; her daughter, Lori Baca and her husband James of Webster MA; her sister, Mary Costello of Hamden; and her four grandchildren, Robert Lancaster III, Evan Lancaster, Nolan Lancaster, and Kaitlin Baca. 

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Peg’s family from 5:00 to 8:00 pm, Wednesday June 24, 2009 in the Valade Funeral Home, 23 Main St., N. Grosvenordale CT 06255.  A gathering will begin in the funeral home at 9:00 am on June 25, 2009, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial  at 10:00 am in St. Joseph Church, 20 Main St., N. Grosvenordale.  Burial will follow in East Thompson Cemetery.  Memorial Donations may be made in her memory to the American Stroke Association, 7272 Greenville Ave., Dallas, TX 75231.
