Marcella (LaFlamme) Busha

1931 – 2009

Dudley – Marcella F. Busha, 78, of Joshua Place, died Tuesday, December 15, 2009 in the Webster Manor.  Born in Grosvenordale, Ct, she was the daughter of the late Philip and Florence (Grenier) LaFlamme.

Marcella worked as a chemical worker for Webco Chemical.  She enjoyed playing bingo and dancing.  She was very talented at crocheting and gave many handmade gifts to her family and friends.  She enjoyed making cheesecake and especially loved spending time with her family. 

Marcella is survived by her daughters, Linda M. Dutcher and her husband Paul of Fort Bragg, CA, Gloria J. Audet and her husband James of North Grosvenordale, and Norma Connors and her husband Thomas of Thompson; her brothers, Philip LaFlamme of Bristol, CT, and Leo LaFlamme of Grosvenordale; her grandchildren, Melissa Ryan, and Michael Audet and his wife Melissa; her great grandchildren, Julia, Justin, Joey, and Olivia; and her former husband, Ernest Busha.  She was predeceased by her sister, Cecile Lamoureux.

The family would like to thank Lori, Marilyn, and Susan from the VNA Hospice, and the staff at Webster Manor Nursing Home for their compassionate care.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Marcella’s family from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm, Friday, December 18, 2009 in the Valade Funeral Home, 23 Main St., N. Grosvenordale CT.  A gathering will begin at 9:00 am on Saturday, December 19, 2009, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in St. Joseph Church, 20 Main St., N. Grosvenordale.  Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery.
