Putnam – Lucille (Lussier) LeClair, 77, of Sabin Street, died Sunday, April 20, 2008 in Worcester MA. Born in Putnam, she was the daughter of the late Theodore and Dolores (Desautels) Lussier.
Lucille worked as a cook for Day Kimball Hospital, Daughters of the Holy Spirit, and the former St. Joseph’s Villa. Lucille’s love of her family was the focus of her life. She enjoyed spending her leisure time reading and listening to classical music.
Lucille is survived by her daughter, Jane Brown and her husband Hank of Putnam; her son, David LeClair and his wife Pamela of Gilford NH; three brothers, Leo Lussier of Putnam, Marcel Lussier of Killingly, and Edward Lussier of Plainfield; her sister, Jeannette Penson of Canterbury; four grandchildren, Glenn, Karl, Kara and Alex; and several nieces and nephews.
A gathering will begin at 11:00 am on Friday, April 25, 2008 in the Gilman Funeral Home, 104 Church St., Putnam, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00 noon in St. Mary Church of the Visitation, 218 Providence St., Putnam. Burial will take place in St. Mary Cemetery at a later date.
