Woodstock – Lucien A. Mandeville, 83, of Laurel Hill Dr., passed away Tuesday, November 11, 2014 in Day Kimball Hospital. Married on June 17, 1956 he was the loving husband of Mary (Hughes) Mandeville.  Born in Wauregan, he was the son of the late Theodore and Blanche (Saborine) Mandeville.

Mr. Mandeville was the President of deville Dairy Inc. from 1979 to 2004. He was honorably discharged in 1954, serving as Sergeant 1st class with the 23rd Regiment during the Korean War. He received a bronze star for meritorious service.

In addition to his wife, Lucien is survived by; his sons, Kenneth Mandeville and his wife Carolyn of Weston, FL, Christopher Mandeville and his wife Susan of Stamford, Steven Mandeville and his wife Patricia of Voluntown, and Philip Mandeville of Shelton; his brother, Louis Mandeville of Plainville; his sisters, Anita Mandeville of Farmington and Claire Engelhardt of Texas; and his 10 grandchildren. He was predeceased by his brother, the late Alfred Mandeville.

Relatives and friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial for Lucien at 11:00 am on Saturday, November 15, 2014 in Most Holy Trinity Church, 568 Pomfret Rd. Pomfret, CT. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Gilman Funeral Home, 104 Church St.  For memorial guestbook visit www.GilmanAndValade.com.
