N. Grosvenordale – Lorna (Hebert) Boucher, 56, of Quinebaug Rd, died Thursday, October 19, 2017 unexpectedly in her home. She was the loving wife of 37 years to Phillip D. Boucher. They met at the age of 16 at a pizza parlor and have been together ever since. Born in Putnam, she was the daughter of Roland and Lucille (Auger) Hebert of Quinebaug.
Mrs. Boucher was a graduate of St. Joseph School, Marianapolis Preparatory School, and Nichols College. She was employed with Cerrone, Graham & Shepherd, P.C.
as a C.P.A. for ten years. She was a member and treasurer of the Pomfret Rod and Gun club, a member of the Hamilton Rod and Gun Club and the Massachusetts Society of C.P.A’s. Lorna was a Level II Archery Instructor and a deer and pheasant hunter. She will be missed by her beloved miniature dachsund, “Daisy.”
In addition to her husband Phillip and her parents, Lorna was survived by her daughter, Vanessa Boucher and her husband Michael Pescheta of Worcester; her son, Eric Boucher and his wife Doung of N. Grosvenordale; her sister, Linda Valade and her husband Joe of Woodstock, and Lorie Bonnette and her husband Cory of Woodstock.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Lorna’s family from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 22, 2017 in the Valade Funeral Home, 23 Main St., N. Grosvenordale. A gathering will begin in the funeral home at 9:00 a.m. on Monday, October 23, 2017 followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in St. Joseph Church, 18 Main St., N. Grosvenordale, CT.
