Birch, Lolita web PhotoNorth Grosvenordale – Lolita Louise Birch, 36, of Buckley Hill Rd. died Thursday, July 13, 2006, in Worcester.  Born in Putnam, she was the daughter of Beatrice (Jones) Trudeau of North Grosvenordale and Patrick Birch, Sr. and his wife Phyllis of Dayville, Ct.

Lolita was a housekeeper and worked in various nursing homes in Connecticut and Massachussetts. She was a loving, giving and caring young woman whose pride and joy was her daughter Katie. She was loved by so many and she will be dearly missed. She enjoyed swimming and watching romance movies.

Besides her parents, Lolita is survived by her loving boyfriend of 16 years, Todd L. Cournoyer and their daughter Katie V. Cournoyer; six brothers, Richard Kachuk of Thompson, William Kachuk of Pittsfield, MA, Bruce Kachuk of Groton, CT, Patrick Birch, Jr. of Brimfield, MA, Joshua Birch of Viginia, and Eric Morin of Putnam; and four sisters, Taunia George of Arizona, Robin Moninski of Danielson, CT, Amy Birch of Dayville and Janine Trask of South Carolina.  Lolita was the step-daughter of the late Charles Trudeau, Sr. and sister of the late Elmer Birch.

Visitation will be held Tuesday from 5 to 7 p.m. in the Valade Funeral Home, 23 Main St., N. Grosvenordale, with a prayer service held at 7 p.m. in the funeral home.  Burial will take place at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Lolita Birch funeral fund, P.O. Box 131, Putnam, CT 06260.
