Putnam – Lisa A. Ramsdell, 47, of Sabin St., died Monday, January 21, 2013 in her home. Born in Worcester, MA, she was the daughter of Marie (Mayo) Ramsdell of Putnam and the late Joseph Ramsdell, Sr.
Lisa graduated from Putnam High School. She went on to work as a dishwasher and kitchen help for the Rectory School in Pomfret. She enjoyed photography, playing keno, and especially loved her kitties, “Flake,” and “Smokey.”
In addition to her mother, Lisa is survived by her brothers, Joseph P. Ramsdell, Jr. of Gautier, MS, Carl F. Ramsdell of Westbrook, CT, Stewart B. Ramsdell of GA, and David L. Ramsdell of Valdosta, GA; her sisters, Rebecca L. Wilson of N.J, and Donna M. Miller of TN; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother, the late Scott H. Ramsdell.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Lisa’s family at 6:00 pm on Thursday, January 24, 2013 in the Gilman Funeral Home, 104 Church St., Putnam, CT 06260. A Funeral Service will begin at 6:30 pm in the funeral home. Burial will take place at South Cemetery, Pomfret in the spring. Memorial donations may be made in Lisa’s name to Hospice of N.E.
