1989 – 2015

N. Grosvenordale – Kayla M. Coffin, 25, of Main St., died Tuesday, October 20, 2015 due to injuries she sustained in an automobile accident in Ellington, CT. Born in Putnam, she was the daughter of Vance Coffin and Naomi (LaBrec) Clifford.

Kayla treasured the time she spent with her beloved daughter Madison. She also enjoyed fishing, drawing, and writing poetry. She was an avid Bruins, and New England Patriots fan.

In addition to her parents, Kayla is survived by her daughter, Madison S. Coffin of N. Grosvenordale; her brother, Joshua A. Stewart of Thompson; her step-father, Scott Clifford of Danielson; her step-mother, Karen Coffin of Norwich; and her maternal grandfather, Roger A. LaBrec of Danielson.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Kayla’s family from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Monday, October 26, 2015 in the Valade Funeral Home, 23 Main St., N. Grosvenordale. For memorial guestbook visit www.GilmanAndValade.com.

    I remember meeting Kayla for the first time. I thought she was a real cool chic. I’d go up to Mossy Meadows and find her And Davey working on the back 40 which she loved to do. Kayla will be missed by many. Godspeed.
