Putnam – Kathleen T. “Aunt K” (Rooney) Patchin, 82, formerly of Van Den Noort Street, died Wednesday, August 30, 2006, at the St. Joseph’s Living Center in Windham.
Born in County Cork, Charleville, Ireland, she was the daughter of the late James & Bridget (O’Shea) Rooney.
Mrs. Patchin was a switchboard operator for New York Telephone for many years.
She was predeceased by her husband, Clyde E. Patchin, who died in 1992. She was also predeceased by her brother, Richard Rooney, and by her sister, Mary Rooney Kirchner. She leaves her nephew John Kirchner and his wife Sue of Brooklyn, and her close friend Jeanne Lavallee.
