Woodstock, CT – Karen Lee Beaudry, 27 of English Neighborhood road died unexpectedly Friday January 25, 2008. Born in Marysville, CA she is survived by her father Richard Beaudry and his wife Elizabeth of Albuquerque, NM and her mother Debra Despelteau and her husband John of Woodstock.
Karen worked in the payroll department at United Natural Foods in Dayville. She was a very caring and loving person, who enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She also had a great love for animals. Her warm and cheery personality will be greatly missed
Besides her parents, Karen is survived by a brother, Eric Beaudry and his fiancée Elissa Savage of Canterbury; a step-sister Jennifer Lehrer of New Mexico; her paternal grandmother Rochelle Beaudry of Putnam and her maternal grandparents Roland and Beatrice Demers of Wilsonville; two nephews, Jacob & Devin and a niece, Francesca. She was the granddaughter of the late George Beaudry.
Relatives and friends are invited to Karen’s Funeral Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 am Saturday, February 2, 2008 in St. Joseph Church, 20 Main Street, North Grosvenordale. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Epilepsy Foundation of Connecticut, 386 Main St., Middletown, Ct 06457. The Valade Funeral Home has been entrusted with her arrangements.
