Woodstock – Judith A. (Dandurand) Ducheneau, 87, formerly of Woodstock Meadows, died Saturday, December 31, 2022, at Hermitage Healthcare Center. Loving wife of the late Donald Ducheneau. Born in Southbridge, she was the daughter of the late Leo and Cecelia (Lonergan) Dandurand.
Mrs. Ducheneau worked for many years as a teacher’s aide helping deaf and special needs children.
Mrs. Ducheneau enjoyed flower gardening, interior decorating, shopping with her daughter and swimming with her girlfriends. She was a former member of the Southbridge Garden Club.
Judith is survived by her children, Cecelia Lowe and her husband Jeffrey of Rutland, MA and Michael Ducheneau and his wife Carla of Lahaina, HI; her sister, Margaret Keyes of Danvers, MA; her grandchildren, Jacob Lowe, Zachary Lowe, and William “Kalei” Ducheneau and her great grandchildren, Suede and Roux Ducheneau.
A Celebration of Judith’s Life is being planned for this summer. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Gilman Funeral Home and Crematory, 104 Church St., Putnam, CT 06260. For memorial guestbook visit www.GilmanAndValade.com.
