Michele, every visit with your father was either fasinating or entertaining or both. One visit, afer he kissed my friend’s hand & he heard her last name he “ran” into the house for his genealogy books & told her about her family’s (French of course) beginning in America.
He also had a “quick” ride in a Corvette he may have told you about. Never a dull moment.
My sincere sympathy to you & your family. He will be missed.

I got to know my Uncle Laurence on family visits and after the war My Grandparents moved in below us so My mom could oversee the care of them. A soft spoken gentlemen and funny.. Also talented with his hands carving wooden ships which amazed me. The last time I saw him was in 1995 when I went back east to see my whole family he was the same… My constant memory is his smiling and concern for all…. A Great Man…..
