I was A neighbor of Bill’s. I rarely saw Mr. Northington but every now and then we would cross paths for a friendly hoody do. I saw him a time or two in the grocery store and would offer a ride home. He politely always said no thank you. I knew him as a stoic and humble soul who was quite and cared about people and the wildlife that would frequent his bird feeders and he helped the feral cats. He will be missed. Nice and quiet. Neighbors are a rarity in our world today!
