Putnam – John H. Perkins Sr., 73, died at home in Putnam, CT. He was the husband/sole mate of his wife, Betty Perkins of 52 years. John leaves his son, John H. Perkins Jr. and wife Leeann, whom we considered a daughter and two beautiful grandsons, John H. Perkins III and Joseph Thomas Perkins of Glastonbury. He also leaves a grandson, Tyler J. Perkins of Putnam, that both John and Betty raised since birth. He also leaves his little fur baby Maltese Snowballs.
John was so proud of both his son John Jr. and his grandson Tyler. John was a loving, caring, husband, father, and grandfather. John loved going to the White Mountains in New Hampshire with his family every year on vacation. John had a face everyone knew. He had many friends. John never refused anyone that asked for help. He was a kind loving sole with the patience of an angel.
The first place John went to was the rainbow bridge to reunite with his loving fur baby Shih Tzu’s Vanny and Bolty. He was raised by his grandparents in Dayville, CT. John will never be forgotten by all that loved and knew him.
Funeral services were private and entrusted to Gilman Funeral Home & Crematory, 104 Church St. in Putnam, CT. For memorial guestbook visit www.GilmanAndValade.com
