Woodstock – Jennie B. (Ciesluk) Johnson, 93, of Paine District Road, died Friday, July 13, 2007 after a short illness surrounded by her loved ones. She was the wife of the late Oscar Johnson who died in 1986. Born in Dudley, MA, she was the daughter of the late Vincent and Mary (Makulski) Ciesluk.
She was a homemaker who loved to cook for her family. Her specialty was traditional polish food. She was an avid card player, who was always up for a game with her grandchildren. The joys of her life were her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by her son, Richard B. Johnson of Woodstock; her daughter, Barbara and her husband Raymond Faucher of Thompson, her daughter, Dorothy and her husband Merrill Seney of North Grosvenordale; her sister, Phyllis Czernicki of New Hampshire; her brother, Edward Ciesluk of Webster, MA; her nine grandchildren, Kathleen, Raymond Jr., Peter, Susan, Karen, Paul, Jeff, Marianne, Sarah and 15 great-grandchildren.
Friends and relatives are invited to visit with Jennie’s family on Tuesday, July 17, 2007 beginning at 9:00 am in the Valade Funeral Home, 23 Main Street, North Grosvenordale, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am in St. Joseph’s Church, Main Street, North Grosvenordale. Burial will be in Elmvale Cemetery, Woodstock. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Community Ambulance, P.O.
