Jeannette B. Cardinal

North Grosvenordale – Jeannette (Ravenelle) Cardinal, 77, of First Street, died Saturday, March 6, 2010 in her home. Born in Putnam, she was the daughter of the late Narcisse and Dora (Faucher) Ravenelle.
Mrs. Cardinal worked for the former Jacobs Rubber, which became Lydall, Inc. of Dayville and also for Webster Manor. She was a communicant of Saint Joseph Church in North Grosvenordale where she served as a housekeeper and volunteered for many church activities. She was an avid sports fan and loved animals.
Jeannette is survived by her brothers, Normand Ravenelle of Thompson, and Phillip Ravenelle of Webster, MA; her sister, Gertrude Hardy of North Grosvenordale; many nieces and nephews; and many great nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister, the late Doris Blain.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Jeannette’s family from 9:00 am to 10:30 am, Tuesday, March 9, 2010 in the Valade Funeral Home, 23 Main St., N. Grosvenordale CT, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am in St. Joseph Church, 20 Main St., N. Grosvenordale. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery.
