Dear Leducs: I am currently out of state, but I saw the obituary in The Bulletin this morning, and I wanted to be sure to convey my condolences to you. Saint Mary’s Church will not be the same without your mother’s familiar presence. I always knew where to look to find her. The parish, the town, your family are poorer for her absence, but all three have been the richer for her presence throughout these ninety-four years. May the gracious God, who shepherds us, all gently enfold her in His peace.
