Jeanne M. Dery

1953 – 2022

North Grosvenordale – Jeanne Dery, 68, of North Grosvenordale, died Saturday, June 18, 2022, in University of Massachusetts Memorial Hospital. Born in Putnam, CT, she was the daughter of Doris (Roy) Dery and the late Norman Dery.

After graduating from Eastern Connecticut State College in 1975, Jeanne worked at the hospital switchboard as well as at the WIC office.

Jeanne was a talented crafter, especially enjoying crochet.

In addition to her mother, Doris, Jeanne is survived by her sister, Diane Dery of Eastford, CT; as well as many close friends. She was predeceased by her brother, Paul Dery.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Jeanne’s family from 10:00 am to 10:45 am on Thursday, June 23, 2022 in Valade Funeral Home, 23 Main St., North Grosvenordale, CT. A Funeral Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am in Saint Joseph Church, 18 Main Street, North Grosvenordale, CT. Burial to follow in Saint Joseph Cemetery.
