1924 – 2012
Putnam – Jeanne L. (Buck) Mattie, 88, of Creamery Brook in Brooklyn, CT, formerly of Limerick, ME and Abington, MA, died Saturday March 24, 2012 in Matulaitis Nursing Home in Putnam, CT. She was the loving wife of the late Francis N. Mattie. Born in Boston, she was the daughter of the late Milford and Jeanne (Wallet) Buck.
Mrs. Mattie worked as an assembler for the Foxboro Company in East Bridgewater, MA. She loved square dancing, baking and decorating cakes, building jigsaw puzzles, reading, sewing and, most recently, playing bingo at Creamery Brook. She especially loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, travelling with her husband and children, and her home in Maine.
Jeanne is survived by her son, Roy “Jimmy” Perkins of Oceanside, CA; her daughters, Louise “Sandy” Perkins of Los Angeles, CA, Marie F. Capone of Auburn, ME, Linda J. Mattie of Rockland, MA, Gail C. Dussault of Woodstock, CT; her brother Jean Buck of Norwood, MA; her sisters, Elizabeth Seales of Concord, N.H., and Mildred Wishart of Falmouth, MA; thirteen grandchildren; and two great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her daughter, the late Karen E. Wolcott and her brother, the late Lucien Buck.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Jeanne’s family from 2 to 4, on Friday, March 30, 2012 in the Gilman Funeral Home, 104 Church St., Putnam. For the memorial guestbook, visit www.GilmanAndValade.com.

Roy we are so sorry for your loss, if there is anything we can do for you please let us know, she lived and full life and sound like a wonderful women, wife and mother.

To Jimmy, Marie, Linda and Gail, I have so many fond memories of my favorite aunt Jeanne Louise as a boy growing up. I will miss her Christmas cards which I always received first every year for as long as I can remember. All my love and sympathy for your loss. Garrie
