Woodstock –James E. Stone, 92, of Town Farm Rd., died Friday, July 19, 2013 in his home. Born in JewettCity, he was the son of the late Joseph Kaminski and Caroline (Willows) Kaminski.
Mr. Stone was an engineer and entrepreneur. He owned and operated a ranch in California and as well as a circuit board manufacturing business. He enjoyed breeding and raising greyhounds, gardening, and nature. He was a farmer at heart.
James is survived by his nephew Doug Olson of Newton, CT, his niece Deborah Court of Ottawa Hills, OH, his nephew David Olson of Windsor, SC, his niece Carol Caulfield of Waterford, CT, nephew George Kaminski of Canterbury, CT, nephew William Kaminski of Canterbury, CT, and niece Edith Lemire of Hampton, CT. He was predeceased by his brothers Joseph Kaminski, John Taylor, Richard Stone, Peter Kaminski, Benjamin Kaminski, Anthony Kaminski; his sisters Elizabeth Olson, Mary Powell, and Ann Volpe; and his partner Robert Craig.
