Aunt Jackie was one of the best! I have happy memories … especially the trip to the circus and to the ice capades. RIP, dear Aunt Jackie.

Aunt Jackie will truly be missed – but I have very good memories to keep with me –

Jackie moved from Putnam when I was 6 years old but I have more memories of her than most of my other relatives.
I remember watching Hope & Crosby road pictures with her during a big snow storm in Dec of 62 or 63.. She hated the snow.
When I joined the navy I was stationed in Key West FL. Jackie’s cousins Pat and Herb Blanchett had a place on Marathon Key. I’d hitchhike down and Jackie would drive up and we’d visit in the middle. Seafood was a staple of the keys but all I’d eat was balogna. Jackie called me the baloney kid. I still kick myself for missing out on all that wonderful gulf shrimp.
I last saw Jackie in the mid 80s when my ship the USS Independence visited Ft Lauderdale. Although it has been a long time since our last visit I will surely miss her.
