Danielson- Ida (Desjardins) Doustou, 78, of Westcott Rd., passed away on Thursday, December 24, 2020 at Davis Place Nursing Home. She was the beloved wife of the late Herbert Doustou. Born in Fort Kent, ME. She was the Daughter of the late Joseph and Lea (Dubois) Desjardins.
Ida worked as a press operator for WASP Archery. She enjoyed reading the Bible, gardening, and growing roses. Her belief in God and his Son was second to no one. She was a prayer warrior. She especially enjoyed being involved with raising her children and grandchildren. She was the best, sweetest and kindest Mother and Grandmother anyone could hope to have. She was most happy, spending time with her husband of nearly 60 years, whether on vacation, at family functions, going shopping or just out to eat. Where you found one, usually there you found the other. They were truly blessed to be lovers, friends, and soulmates.
Ida is survived by her children, Pamala Rickis of Lake Placid, FL, David Doustou of West Brookfield, MA., and Carrie Doustou of Danielson CT., her brother, James and his wife Elaine of Fort Kent, ME; her sister, Joyce Charette and her husband June of Presque Island, ME; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren and many cousins, nephews and nieces.
