Windham — Florida Beauregard, 103, formerly of Putnam, died Monday, March 20, 2006, at the Douglas Manor Convalescent Home, 104 North Road, Windham, where she had been a resident since 1996.
Born in Manville, Rhode Island, she was the daughter of the late Joseph G. and Leonie (Perras) Beauregard. She lived in Putnam most of her life.
Ms. Beauregard was a homemaker and a communicant of St Mary’s Church of the visitation. She enjoyed sewing, knitting, crocheting, rug braiding and cooking. She was an avid Red Sox Fan.
She was the oldest of eight children and was predeceased by 3 brothers, Henry, Gerard and Albert Beauregard, and 4 sisters, Mathilda Brousseau, Blanche LaRocque, Dora Gerardi and Jeannette Beauregard. She leaves many nieces and nephews.
A Funeral will be held at 10am Thursday in the Gilman Funeral Home, 104 Church St., Putnam, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11am in St Mary’s Church of the Visitation, 218 Providence St., and burial in St Mary’s Cemetery. Visitation will be held Thursday morning from 10:00 to 10:30am. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St Mary’s Church, 218 Providence St. Putnam, CT 06260.
