Sue, we loved Gene, he was the kindest, sweetest man I’ve ever known. He always put everyone else first and his own needs were second. I know he’s in a better place now. But his absence still leaves us grieving. I know I will never meet another person with his warmth and his “sick sense of humor”. He always made us laugh. I wish there were words that could tell you how much we thought of Gene. How much we respected him. But words just don’t come close. We will always be here for you. You are my dearest friend and we both love you very much. As I have said many times before, anything you need……we are a phone call away. I know you are strong, and I know it will take a long time before you can smile again, but Gene is with you and I know he’s watching over you. He always took good care of you and I know that will not stop. He will always be by your side.

I am devastated to hear the news of Gene’s passing. My condolences to all the family, especially Jeremy and Heather. I have many good memories of my time with them, and I loved Gene very much, but our lives took a different route many years ago. I will remember him always, and am glad I got to visit with Gene and Sue a few years ago at Waterfront Mary’s.
