1948 – 2021

Woonsocket, RI – Emile J. Giguere, Sr., 73, of Cleveland St., passed away on Wednesday, March 10, 2021. He was the loving husband of 57 years to Marlene (Alarie) Giguere. Born in Woonsocket, RI, he was the son of the late Edgar and Rita (Moison) Giguere.

Mr. Giguere worked as a truck driver for Unitrans Transportation. He enjoyed bowling, playing pool and video games. He enjoyed doing projects around his home, including building a stone wall and a swimming pool for his family. He was a jack of all trades.

In addition to his loving wife, Emile is survived by his son, Emile Giguere, Jr. and his wife Tina of Johnston, RI; his daughter, Linda Bourget and her husband Denis of Johnston, RI; his brothers, Edgar Giguere of Webster, MA, Leo Giguere of Woonsocket, RI, and Robert Giguere of FL; his sisters, Shirley McDuff of Woonsocket, RI and Susan Prunier of FL; his grandchildren, Emile Giguere, III, Brittney Bourget, Marisa Bourget, and Skylar Giguere; and his great-grandchildren, Emile Giguere, IV, and Kinsley Giguere. He was predeceased by his sister, the late Flora Bergeron.
