Putnam – Elizabeth Hermine Dufault, 93, formerly of Harrison Street died Sunday February 24, 2008 in Danielson. Born in Putnam, she was the daughter of the late Napoleon and Josephine (Favreau) Dufault. She was a lifelong Putnam resident.
Miss Dufault was a textile worker for the former Belding Heminway Co. for 44 years, retiring in 1980. She then became a dedicated volunteer for St Mary’s School lunch program. She was a communicant of St. Mary Church of the Visitation and belonged to the Daughters of Isabella and the League of Catholic Women. She enjoyed listening to sports, especially the Red Sox.
She is survived by several nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Elizabeth’s family at 10:00am Friday February 29, 2008 in the Gilman Funeral Home, 104 Church St., Putnam, with a Funeral Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00am in St. Mary Church of the Visitation, 218 Providence St., Putnam. Burial to follow in St. Mary Cemetery. Donations may be made in her memory to St Mary’s school, 23 Marshall Street, Putnam, CT 06260
