In Memorial

Eastford – Eleanor T. Whittenburg, 81, of County Rd., passed away Friday, October 10, 2014, in Day Kimball Hospital. Born in Putnam, she was the daughter of the late William and Mary (Primo) Mayhew.

Mrs. Whittenburg was a co-founder of Whitcraft Corp. where she worked as a bookkeeper. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, and doing puzzles.

Eleanor is survived by her sons, Mickey (Donna) Whittenburg, Jr., Terence (Vanessa) Whittenburg, Gary Whittenburg, and Eric (Robin) Whittenburg, all of Eastford; 10 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren. She is predeceased by her brothers, the late Alphonse and the late Ronald Mayhew.
