Thompson – Edward T. Luther, III, 78, of Brandy Hill Rd., died June 12, 2022, in Hartford Hospital. He was the loving husband of Barbara (Juszczyk) Luther. Born in Fall River, Massachusetts, he was the son of the late Edward T. Luther, Jr. and Florence (Jordan) Johnson.
Ed worked for Rawson Materials as a Truck Driver for many years. He was also a member of the Thompson Hill Fire Department and the Putnam Lodge of Elks.
Mr. Luther enjoyed golfing at the Quinnatisset Country Club, where he proudly hit a hole in one.
In addition to his wife, Barbara, Ed is also survived by several nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by 2 brothers, Arthur Johnson and Robert Johnson.
A graveside service will be held at 10am on Monday, June 20th, 2022 in St Mary Cemetery, Providence Street in Putnam. Memorial donations may be made to The Thompson Hill Fire Station, 70 Chase Rd, Thompson, CT 06277.
