
Putnam – Edna A. (Green) Lamiotte, 81, of Church St., died Saturday, August 22, 2009, in Day Kimball Hospital. She was the wife of the late Louis Lamiotte who died in 1968 and the 38 year companion of Norman Therrien who died in 2007. Born in Putnam, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Bellora (Paquin) Green.
Mrs. Lamiotte was a housekeeper for Dr. David Bates. She also worked at the Villa Saint Joseph and the Putnam Laundry Co. Her favorite past times were to walk and visit with her friends at Price Chopper and The Putnam Supermarket and above all, to recycle cans. She began recycling long before it was fashionable.
Edna is survived by her daughter, Rosemary Laperle of Danielson; her sister, Lorraine Green of Putnam; her granddaughter, Shannon Jeffs; her great-granddaughter, Summer Jeffs and her friend Christine Sullivan. She was predeceased by her brother, Earl Green and her sister, Blanche Lester.
Relatives and friends are invited to a Graveside Service for Edna on Saturday August 29, 2009 at 2:00pm in St. Mary Cemetery, Providence St., Putnam. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Gilman Funeral Home.
